Rising Stars Youth Competition is a premier classical music competition held in Charlotte, North Carolina, created to celebrate and elevate the next generation of young musicians. The competition welcomes talented and passionate students ages 7–18 from North Carolina and South Carolina, providing them with a distinguished platform to showcase their artistry, dedication, and musical growth.
The competition features two divisions: Strings and Piano, bringing together aspiring young musicians for a high-level experience that emphasizes both artistic excellence and the joy of performing. Participants have the opportunity to perform before an accomplished panel of jury members from all over the United States as well as internationally, gaining valuable feedback and exposure from respected professionals in the classical music community.
At its heart, Rising Stars Youth Competition is dedicated to discovering and highlighting exceptional young talent. Through meaningful performance opportunities, a challenging yet inspiring competitive environment, and connections with fellow young musicians, the competition encourages students to grow not only as performers, but also as confident and passionate artists.
